Brief Description
The course focuses on the opportunities and risks associated with international operations. The analysis is conducted from two perspectives: On the one hand from the perspective of an international investor, on the other hand from the perspective of an internationally operating company. The aim here is to identify possible alternative courses of action, especially for the management of exchange rate risks. Due to the central importance of the exchange rate risk, the foreign exchange market is discussed at the beginning. Furthermore, current exchange rate theories are presented.
