Brief Description

Personal financial decisions are often influenced by widespread popular opinions (e.g., investing in stocks with high dividends or value stocks, saving at a young age, or preferring fixed mortgage rates). In some cases, popular advice diverges from the findings of scientific finance research. In the seminar, some of these advices will be compared to scientific research and further implications will be shown.
