Letters of Recommendation

For students who have taken a course at our department, we will base a standard letter of recommendation solely on their performance on the final exam. This exam must have been passed with a grade of at least 1.3.

A detailed letter of recommendation can be obtained if one of the following requirements is met (necessary but not sufficient condition):

• You have passed a bachelor’s or master’s thesis from the department with a grade of at least 1.3, or
• You are or were a student assistant at the department.

Documents required for the preparation of the report:

• Curriculum vitae
• Current transcript of records

The following dates and deadlines apply:

• Please submit the aforementioned documents at least four weeks before you need the letter of recommendation.
