Study and Teaching

We qualify young people for management positions in science and business - through basic finance training. Financial Engineering provides innovative solutions for financial problems using quantitative methods. One focus is the targeted construction, analysis and design of financial contracts. Our students acquire sound knowledge of finance and capital market theory and develop and implement creative problem solutions in combination with applied mathematical methods.

We support in-service training in the context of the Executive Master of Science (M.Sc.) program of the Hector School of Engineering and Management. Prof. Dr. Marliese Uhrig-Homburg is the program director of the M.Sc. Program in Financial Engineering.
