Every three years Prof. Dr. Martin Ruckes, Prof. Dr. Marliese Uhrig-Homburg, Prof. Dr. Maxim Ulrich and Prof. Dr. Christof Weinhardt jointly organize the Symposium on Finance, Banking and Insurance. The conference traditionally serves as a meeting point and link between theory and practice.
With this concept the conference has become the largest of its kind in the German-speaking countries. For three days more than 100 speakers will discuss a broad spectrum of finance topics. Therefore the usually about 500 participants have a unique chance to get an insight into state-of-the-art theory and practice. The international reputation of the conference can be recognized by the fact that in the past years several Nobel laureates made their ways to Karlsruhe. Here you can find further information.
